U voert onder verantwoordelijkheid van de bestuurder de regie over het strategisch beleidsproces binnen de organisatie en biedt inhoudelijke ondersteuning aan de bestuurder en geeft advies op de niet specifiek ingevulde beleidsterreinen U geeft als een echte teamplayer op een inspirerende, professionele en coachende wijze leiding aan het beleidsbureau, u initieert en ondersteunt de ontwikkeling en realisatie van strategisch beleid. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS)  Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably with a masters degree in Industrial Engineering.  Minimum 20 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control with at least 10 years experience as a Head of Quality in a large industrial organization.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly persuasive and a good negotiator.  Adequate exposure / experience in Total Quality management (TQM), Statistical Quality Content, and Six Sigma methodologies. Ensure the provision of quality related documentation and support to other Departments as and when required. ? Ensure a proactive approach to improve quality of work at site, minimize rework and demonstrate continual improvement. ? Participate in product and process improvement projects with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales. 4 QUALITY CONTROL ? Ensure the inspection and testing of the Company?s process and products and the resolution of non conformances in order to ensure the company?s product meets the quality standards of the different organization bodies which the company is a member of. ? Oversee the conduct of the QC team to the different activities on the monitoring and resolving of non conformances to ensure the Products meet the quality standards upon release. ? Ensure the coordination and support provided by the Quality Control Team to the production, material management and other units to the resolution of issues and non conformances. ?
